Dan Bryant, LPC
Daniel Bryant is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional who works as the Clinical Director of Substance Use Disorder Services and serves as the Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Chair at Community Health Center in Middletown, CT. More than 10 years ago Mr. Bryant began his practice at a small Substance Use Disorder clinic in Princeton, New Jersey. Almost immediately he began to recognize the overlap between trauma and substance use and has dedicated himself to learning to care for these populations. He has received training in multiple evidence based treatments of trauma and PTSD including EMDR and received Motivational Interviewing training from William Miller. Mr. Bryant has provided didactic and continuing education to medical and psychology residents at CHC as well as staff nurses and other national participants as a part of the Complex Care Management ECHO on topics including substance use disorders, motivational interviewing, suicide assessment, Adverse Childhood Experiences and trauma, and the integration of behavioral health and primary care. He has spoken at conferences on integrated behavioral healthcare, trauma, and treating chronic pain using behavioral health. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wagner College and his Master’s Degree from Fordham University.
